Desktop App Privacy Policy

To maintain the signed-in state, the NoraPocket desktop app stores authentication session information in the app data directory on the Mac. This information is deleted upon sign-out.

This app may send diagnostic information to Sentry's crash and error monitoring service to investigate crashes and errors and to improve quality. The diagnostic information may include, in addition to errors in the web display portion, panics (abnormal terminations) in the native portion, environment information at the time of occurrence, and backtraces.

At startup, this app connects to NoraPocket's update distribution server to check which versions are available. If an update is performed, the app obtains the update binary, verifies its signature, and then installs it. Communications for update checks and downloads are not used for usage analysis or tracking.
